Lincoln National Scooter Rally
Friday 18 May 2012 at 2:39 pm As you will be aware, the LCGB is holding a BSRA National Scooter Rally at Lincoln Showground over the weekend of 13th to 15th July 2012, in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the 1st Lambretta Model A rolling off the Innocenti production line. Various details have already been advertised in the scooter press and as more details of the event are confirmed, you can keep up with the latest news on the LCGB website: www.ilambretta.comHowever the rally is not just about Lambretta scooters, it is a full blown National Scooter Rally and what is likely to be 'the' scooter event of the year. In addition to the many planned activities at Lincoln Showground to reflect the various different aspects of this fabulous scooter scene within the UK, the LCGB is organising what will quite probably be the largest outdoor Scooter Custom Show in the UK, ever.
As you have either already enquired about entering your scooter in the show, or have supported the LCGB Bridlington Custom Scooter Show in recent years, you're getting the first opportunity to book a place in the Scooter Custom Show at Lincoln.
Attached is an entry form for you to print off and complete. You'll see that there are over 40 different trophies on offer, covering all aspects of scooter customising in the UK, and with an aim of having every different model of Lambretta at Lincoln, the LCGB are offering a cash prize of £250 to the Lambretta that is judged as the 'Best Lambretta in the UK' at Lincoln.

Also, to persuade you to get your entry forms back in good time, (Friday 7th July), if you provide a short few words about your Custom Scooter, those details will be published in a Custom Show Programme that will be available at the event. Now when was the last time punters got the opportunity to read about the Custom Scooters they are looking at in that same Scooter Custom Show?
As ever, if you have any questions or queries about entering the LCGB Lincoln Custom Show then drop me an e-mail, or give me a ring.
Cheers, and look forward to seeing you at Lincoln (if not before at another scooter event).
Cheers
Simon Collins (Toot)
